The Ministry of Education has acquired a 3.2 hectare site in the Stonefields development.  The proposed school for pupils of school years 1-8 (5-12 years) will be accessible and within safe walking distance for the entire community.  The Ministry expects the school to be open for the beginning of the 2011 school year.

Town Centre

Todd Property Group's vision for Stonefields Quarter is as the focal point of the community, a gathering place for living, shopping LivingAtSF_towncentreand relaxing, in a genuine mixed use environment.

Stonefields Quarter is planned to provide:

  • Commercial space to accommodate offices and community facilities, such as medical centre and gym.

Accessibility to Stonefields Quarter has been a prime focus and strong connections have been provided to enable travel primarily by foot, bicycle and bus. Care has been taken to manage movement and parking to ensure stonefields_quarter_largethat vehicles do not dominate the pedestrian areas.

The architectural concept for the quarter has been to connect the community to the origin and history of Stonefields creating a town centre that is modern yet timeless.
